Kid Cudi music biography continued...
New York, where he became affiliated with Fool's Gold, the label of DJs A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs. . The label released the Day 'n' Nite EP in February 2008, generating buzz for the up-and-comer online. The press took note, and Cudi was named one of the Top Five best indie hip-hop artists of 2008 by Rolling Stone magazine. Soon after the EP dropped, Cudi started touring with his Fool's Gold labelmates, Steve Aoki and his Dim Mak. As the remixed version of "Day 'n' Nite" climbed the U.K. singles charts, Kid Cudi was more than prepared for his full-length album debut, Man on the Moon: The Guardians, in the summer of 2009.
