1995, Enrique released his debut album simply entitled Enrique Iglesias. This album that was solely in Spanish did very well and earned him a Grammy Award for Best Latin Artist. His second album, Vivir, was released just two years later and also did quite well, earning him an American Music Award nomination. Not wasting anytime, Enrique released his third album, Cosas del Amor, which proved him to be a staple in the music industry. After all his hard work, he was rewarded by winning an American Music Award.

Enrique managed to successfully crossover to the English-language music market in 1999 with the hit single "Bailamos." Because of its success, Enrique kept with an English album for his next project. This album entitled Escape is his biggest album to date.

For his next album, he decided to return to his native language with the album Quizás. His seventh album which he called Seven allowed him once again to return to English. Enrique's album entitled Insomniac was released on June 12 2007.

Enrique is preparing a greatest hits album which he is promoting on a tour in Europe. He said that his contract requires a release of a greatest hits album in 2009 which means that his new work is put on hold.
