The What's the Story Morning Glory album comes from the self-described greatest rock and roll band ever. (They even said they were better than The Beatles ) What the album amounts to is a non-stop train of tasty, ear-pleasing rock candy, with attitude. Noel Gallagher has an excellent ear for melody, even though most of his musings seem to be swiped from The Beatles and their British Invasion compatriots.
